Like many Swedish housewives in the 1920's, Anna Karlsson baked ginger cookies at Christmas from a recipe handed down from her mother. Her cookies became so popular that Anna and her sister started baking them year-round. In 1929 they opened a small bakery in Stockholm, Sweden. Ever since, Anna's has been a magical journey supplying cookies to Europe and North America for nearly a century.
