Description

DIM is an antioxidant compound derived from indole-3-carbinol ( I-3-C), a plant compound found in broccoli, kale, cauliflower, bok choy and other cruciferous vegetables.

DIM is recognized for its role in promoting healthy estrogen balance in males and females by supporting the clearance of estrogen by the liver’s blood cleansing/detoxification processes.  DIM promotes the metabolic transformation of free estrogen and may reduce estrogen-mimicking substances (for ex. parabens, phthalates etc.) into weaker-acting estrogen metabolites, thereby decreasing their potential to affect estrogen-sensitive tissues in unwanted ways.  Its powerful antioxidant benefits help the body detoxify free radicals and enhances phase II detoxification processes in the liver, protecting cells from damage.

Both females and males can benefit from taking DIM.

Females with estrogen-dominant conditions, such as premenstrual syndrome, cyclical mastalgia (fibrocystic breast disease), heavy menstrual periods, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome and associated acne, infertility problems, as well as peri-menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and mood swings can benefit from taking DIM daily.

Since DIM supports a healthy estrogen-to-testosterone ratio in males, those who are who are overweight with excess body fat, unwanted breast development, hormonal acne or prostate issues can also benefit from taking DIM.

Pure Lab’s DIM is fully activated and ready to provide hormone-balancing and antioxidant benefits to the body.  It’s contained within a special acid-resistant capsule designed to protect the DIM against the harsh conditions of the upper GI tract, providing superior bioavailability.  Plus, Pure Lab’s DIM provides antioxidant protection and hormone balancing without the uncomfortable GI effects produced by eating broccoli, cabbage and kale.
