Important Information About Expiry Dates
There is information online suggesting that CoaguChek test strips are supplied with a guaranteed 18-month expiry period. This information is Incorrect. Roche Diagnostics Canada does NOT guarantee that a package of 6 or 24 strips will have 18 months remaining before expiry. Expiry dates vary depending on the manufacturing lot.
For this reason, we recommend choosing your package size based on your actual testing frequency, rather than assuming a specific expiry period.

The CoaguChek XS PT Test PST is an in-vitro assay for the determination of prothrombin time (PT) using the CoaguChek INRange or Coaguchek XS. The test uses fresh capillary whole blood and is intended for patient self-testing only.
The test strips are easy to handle and apply blood to, making it easy to get your results rapidly. You can apply the blood sample to the strip either from the top or from the left or right sides, whichever you find most convenient.
